FAQs
Is there a membership required to play pickleball at Trail Stop Pickleball?
A membership is not required for walk-in players but you will be asked to sign a liability waiver. A free membership with CourtReserve will allow for easy scheduling if you anticipate playing more than once.
Do I need a player account?
A free membership/player account is not required for walk-in play. If you anticipate playing more than once then a free membership/player account with CourtReserve will make scheduling and payment easier.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all players need to have a signed waiver. Creating a free CourtReserve account will satisfy the waiver requirements.
Is it necessary to make reservations to play at your facility?
We recommend reservations but we will accept walk-ins if a court is available.
How do I pay for my court time?
You must have a player profile to reserve courts and pay for court time. Only one person will pay the court reservation fee. The player reserving the court will decide if they wish to collect a portion of the fee from the other players using that court reservation.
Can children play?
- Children 12-16 can play with a parent or on a separate court while parent is playing (separate court required).
- Children 16 – 18 can play on their own with a court reservation but must have a player profile and signed wavier by a parent or legal guardian.
- Family members 18-22 who are full time students are able to play under a family membership
Is there a Pro Shop?
No.
Are there showers and lockers?
No, we do not provide shower facilities or lockers.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
We have limited paddles and balls for use at no charge.
What type of pickleball should I use at Trail Stop Pickleball?
You will need outdoor pickleballs.
Do you offer lessons?
Lessons are available through our independent instructors. Contact us for more information.
What is DUPR, and how can I get one?
Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating is the most accurate and only global rating system in Pickleball. All players, regardless of their age, gender, location, or skill, are rated on the same scale between 2.00-8.00 based on their match results. You can sign up for a DUPR at https://mydupr.com
What is the court cancellation policy?
We will not be able to offer any refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. We will offer credit towards future bookings for cancellations made made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time (those with active memberships will receive a refund).
